Here are some tips to help you care for your car while its in storage. After you have parked for good, make sure to disconnect the battery to keep it from draining while you car sits. Changing the oil can help from the oil to become gunky from sitting with used oil. Make sure there are no slow leaks in your tires so you dont come back to flat tires when you’re ready to move it. Of course a covered storage unit will help protect from the elements but, if you are in a non covered spot a car cover will help protect from the elements as well.
